![]() ![]() Grande Premio do Brazil Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace (Interlagos), Sao Paulo, Brazil Race Distance: 71 laps, 305.909 km The penultimate round of the season this year is held at Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace, otherwise known as Interlagos, which literally means "between lakes". The track is situated on a hilly, swampy area between two lakes near Sao Paulo, Brazil, resulting in a track with lots of elevation changes and notorious bumps. Max Verstappen won the Brazilian Grand Prix with a powerful drive in a race that saw all his main rivals falter. Two late Safety Cars, after Bottas abandoned due to engine issues, and the two Ferraris crashed each other out, led to a mad dash to the finish and resulted, after time penalties, in Pierre Gasly coming 2nd, and Carlos Sainz in 3rd (after starting dead last), with both garnering their first F1 podium positions. Chris S's picks therefore resulted in an improbable first in the round, with Georgethefierce and Arun in second and third. Curley regains top spot and is one result away from his record 4th Fantasy F1 Championship, but Arun is within striking distance in second place, while Reno Stack drops to a precarious third. Nothing has been decided with Abu Dhabi, the final race, less than 2 weeks away!
