The Mexican GP returned to the Hermanos Rodriguez circuit in Mexico City in 2015 after a 23 year hiatus. At an altitude of over 7,300 feet, the course in Mexico is by far the highest event on the schedule, creating a challenge for aero downforce and engine power due to the 20% less dense atmosphere. However, with the advent of the turbo-hybrid era, power is far more available to modern F1 cars than downforce, making the car harder and twitchier to drive on the recently paved surface.
