Welcome to the 2025 Fantasy Formula 1 Season!

by Jody Scheckter at 2:50 pm, Jul 6 Lando Norris was the beneficiary of a safety car violation penalty against Oscar Piastri, to win a chaotic British Grand Prix by six seconds over his teammate. The on again, off again, rainy conditions at Silverstone made for multiple shunts, spins, safety car periods and retirements. Those that got the pit calls right, and managed to keep their car on the track were rewarded, none more so than Nico Hulkenberg who earned his first ever podium finish after 14 years of trying and starting 19th on the grid. Hulkenberg's form over the last four races has been good enough for points finishes in all of them, and 2 more points than the reigning World Champion Max Verstappen, as Red Bull once again suffered a miserable result.

Croken is this week's clear winner, having picked Hulkenberg and Lance Stroll who finished in an unexpected seventh place. Zan4774 continued to pick the big hitters and despite the shake ups on track, still tallied up a good total for second, while sperry was also rewarded for his Hulkenberg pick to come third.

The second of four dropped rounds having been applied, Zan4774 now has a 167 point lead in the overall standings, but with half of the season still to come, and having maxed out on picks for some of the top drivers, will it be enough? Kimi Haikunen has now jumped into second, as Suyash drops to third.

F1 takes a few weeks off before returning for the Belgian Grand Prix. As a reminder, Spa will also play host to the third Sprint Race of the season.
