Max Verstappen had an historically fast weekend in Monza by grabbing pole with the fastest ever F1 average lap speed, and then converting that into the fastest ever F1 race win. The Dutchman had to wait four months since his last victory, also in Italy at Imola, with a podium result that matched that race, with Lando Norris taking second and Oscar Piastri third. Breaking out of a previously poor run of results, G Bartoledo is the FF1 round winner, lightsOUT takes second, and curley finishes third on the day.Zan4774 continues as the overall leader despite a low score this week, Suyash just manages to retain second, not helped by an even lower round score that is dropped, but lightsOUT continues to progress upward, jumping from sixth to third. The Azerbaijan Grand Prix is in a couple of weeks, and McLaren will have an opportunity to clinch the constructor's championship with seven races to spare, but Red Bull have shown they still have a car and driver combination that can take the battle to the British team, so it will be interesting to see how that pans out as we head into the final third of the season.
