Welcome to the 2024 Fantasy Formula 1 Season!
by
Jody Scheckter

Carlos Sainz converted his pole position into a well controlled win at the Mexican Grand Prix, with a late charge by second place finisher, Lando Norris, coming too late to trouble the Spaniard, but early enough for Charles Leclerc to change tires and pick up the fast lap point on the last lap while taking third.
The race marked yet another bad day for Red Bull, as they slipped into third in the contructor's championship standings, creating a potential rare end of season result, as the last time the F1 driver champion came from a team that placed third was 1983 when Nelson Piquet won driving for Brahbam.
Chuck Calrissian
is mounting his own end of season charge, taking a second straight round win and moving up to sixth overall from 14th two races ago.
sperry
takes second on the day, while
lightsOUT
manages third place.
Overall,
1 Max V
extends his lead in first place.
curley
in second, and
Slater Sn
in third manage to keep their positions despite scoring few points this round, allowing the rest of the field to catch up.
Next weekend we conclude this sequence of back-to-back-to-back races in Brazil for the second to last Sprint Race weekend of the year. With only four more races to go, and the last round drop to be applied after the final race of the season, it is anyone's guess who will win this year's FF1 competition!
