Hungaroring, Budapest, Hungary Event Description: Race Distance: 70 laps, 306.630 km

Built in 1986, the Hungaroring located near Budapest, Hungary was the home of many great battles during the turbo era of Formula 1. Today the track is known for its dry and dusty surface that has been raced in the wet only one time (in 2006 the wet Hungaroring gave Jensen Button his maiden victory). The slippy surface here makes one extra qualifying lap all that more important as the track get faster during each session's "rubbering-in".

The 2009 race saw Hamilton winning for the first time of the season, as he used the KERS button to fend off contenders. Raikkonen took 2nd, and Webber 3rd. Qualifying Summary: Red Bull continues their qualifying dominance. Vettel leads teammate Webber from pole, and sets a time 1.2 seconds faster than the 3rd place Ferrari of Alonso.

Massa will start fourth at the first race back at the track where he was injured at last season. De la Rosa and Hulkenberg are surprisingly quick, making the top 10.

Because a good start by Alonso slotted him between Vettel and Webber, Webber opted to stay out during the SC period while Vettel was able to duck into the pits to switch to the prime tires. Thus at the restart, Webber led Vettel and Alonso. But Vettel apparently missed the lights-out on the Safety Car and was caught lagging at the restart, earning him a drive-thru penalty, giving 2nd place to Alonso.

Webber, still on the option tires that were supposed to last "only a few laps", pushed on for more than half the race gapping the field by enough time to allow him to pit without losing the lead. Driver Classification for Round 12: Fantasy Results: Event Media:
