Hungaroring, Budapest, Hungary Event Description: Race Distance: 70 laps, 306.630 km

Built in 1986, the Hungaroring located near Budapest, Hungary was the home of many great battles during the turbo era of Formula 1. Today the track is known for its dry and dusty surface that has been raced in the wet only one time (in 2006 the wet Hungaroring gave Jensen Button his maiden victory). The slippy surface here makes one extra qualifying lap all that more important as the track get faster during each session's "rubbering-in".

Webber put in a fantastic drive in 2010, making his option tires last most the race and giving him the win. Vettel is bested by Alonso when he earned a drive-thru penalty dropping him to 3rd. Qualifying Summary: Despite losing race-pace over the last few rounds, Red Bull keeps up their qualifying magic with another pole for Vettel. McLaren and Ferrari are right there however with Hamilton, Button, Massa and Alonso rounding out the top 5 qualifiers due to Webber having KERS issues in 6th.

Massa's 4th place start is the first time he's out qualified his teammate Alonso. All cars make the 107% rule grid after a valiant effort by HRT and Virgin to qualify to race.

The race originally seemed to be in the hands of Button's teammate Hamilton, after Hamilton quickly passed Vettel at the start. But terrible tire strategy in the drying conditions, as well as a spin and penalty, relegated Hamilton to 4th. Vettel plays it safe thinking about protecting the championship and finishes 2nd.
